Standard Chartered Forecasts BNB Could Climb to $2,775 by 2028, Backed by Binance’s Continued Dominance

BNB, the primary token powering Binance’s BNB Chain, could deliver solid long-term returns and is on track to potentially reach $2,775 by the close of 2028, according to a new projection from Standard Chartered Bank.

Geoff Kendrick, the bank’s head of digital assets research, highlighted that since May 2021, BNB’s market behavior — in terms of both price movement and volatility — has closely mirrored an equal-weighted average of Bitcoin and Ethereum. He expects this trend to continue over the coming years.

Kendrick emphasized that BNB’s value remains closely tied to Binance’s status as a leading centralized crypto exchange. As long as Binance maintains its market share, BNB’s fundamental growth drivers are expected to remain intact, he said.

He also pointed out that BNB Chain supports a narrower range of use cases than some of its competitors, such as Ethereum and Avalanche. Most of the activity on BNB Chain is concentrated in decentralized exchanges, lending, and liquid staking — making it, in Kendrick’s words, a more “traditional” smart contract platform.

Standard Chartered’s outlook reinforces BNB’s position not just as a utility token but as a potentially reliable gauge of performance in the digital asset space.
