SharpLink Buys $295M More in ETH as Joseph Lubin’s Firm Grows to $1.7B Ethereum Treasury

SharpLink Gaming, the Ethereum-focused firm chaired by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, has added another massive chunk of ETH to its already formidable crypto treasury. On Sunday evening, the Nasdaq-listed company acquired 77,210 ETH—valued at roughly $295 million—according to blockchain data tracked by Lookonchain and sourced from Arkham Intelligence.

This latest purchase brings SharpLink's total Ethereum holdings to approximately 438,017 ETH, worth around $1.7 billion at current market prices. The aggressive accumulation reinforces SharpLink’s position as one of the largest ETH treasury holders in the corporate world.

The move comes just days after SharpLink announced that Joseph Chalom, a former executive from BlackRock, has joined the company as co-CEO. Lubin, who also chairs SharpLink, called the hire a “resounding validation” of the firm’s long-term Ethereum strategy.

Despite a brief dip in stock price—falling 5.7% on Friday to $21.99—SharpLink’s year-to-date performance remains stellar. The stock has surged 113.9% in the past month and is up 186.3% since the start of the year, according to Yahoo Finance.

Meanwhile, Ethereum itself has seen a healthy boost, rising 2.9% in the last 24 hours to reach $3,900, adding further momentum to SharpLink’s bullish ETH stance.
