BNB Rockets Past $1,100 as Fee Cuts and Short Squeeze Ignite Record-Breaking Rally

BNB soared to a new all-time high of $1,191, marking one of the strongest rallies among major cryptocurrencies this quarter. The surge was driven by a massive short squeeze and recent network fee reductions, which boosted on-chain activity and investor confidence.
At the time of writing, BNB trades at $1,192, up 6.1% in the past 24 hours and 17.2% over the week. The token’s market capitalization has surpassed $154 billion, solidifying its position as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency globally.
More than $7.7 million in short positions were liquidated within hours, sparking a short squeeze that sent prices soaring past the key resistance level of $1,084. The breakout shifted market sentiment decisively bullish, with traders now eyeing the $1,200 range as the next potential target.
The BNB Chain has seen explosive growth over the past year. Monthly active users have doubled to over two million, while daily transactions jumped from one million to ten million. Activity on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) within the ecosystem also climbed sharply, from 120,000 to over 200,000 daily users, according to recent on-chain data.
This growth has been fueled by a mix of network upgrades, lower gas fees, and rising institutional interest. The latest transaction fee cut to just $0.005 per transfer has made BNB Chain one of the most cost-efficient networks in the industry, drawing developers and retail users alike.
Meanwhile, projects like Aster, a multi-chain perpetual futures platform, and PancakeSwap, BNB Chain’s largest DEX, have significantly expanded liquidity and user engagement. Over the past two weeks alone, stablecoin supply on the network increased by nearly $2 billion, reflecting new capital inflows.
Adding to the momentum is speculation surrounding a potential U.S. spot BNB ETF, which has stirred excitement among traders and institutions considering BNB as a treasury asset rather than just a utility token.
While technical indicators such as the RSI suggest that BNB may be nearing overbought territory, analysts see continued upside potential if the $1,000–$1,084 support zone holds firm. Sustained network activity and future upgrades could further cement BNB’s position as a key pillar in the crypto ecosystem.
