Ethereum Smashes Records Again, Fueled by ETF Inflows and Corporate Buying

Ethereum has set a new all-time high, climbing to $4,945 on Sunday—just two days after shattering its previous peak from November 2021. The rapid surge underscores Ethereum’s growing momentum as it closes in on the symbolic $5,000 mark.
The rally gained steam following remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, who signaled the possibility of interest rate cuts. Within an hour of his speech Friday, ETH spiked nearly 8%, igniting a broader crypto market rally. By the end of the day, Ethereum had surged 15% and surpassed its long-standing record of $4,878.
A perfect storm of catalysts has fueled the upswing. Spot Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. are witnessing unprecedented demand, recording inflows of more than $1 billion in a single day—a first since their launch. These ETFs have begun to outpace Bitcoin products, signaling a shift in investor preference toward Ethereum.
Corporate adoption has added further weight to the rally. BitMine Immersion disclosed Ethereum holdings exceeding $7 billion, while SharpLink Gaming confirmed over $3.6 billion in ETH on its balance sheet. Such large-scale treasury moves mirror the Bitcoin accumulation trend of previous years but now spotlight Ethereum’s rising institutional appeal.
On the regulatory front, the SEC has provided clearer rules for staking services, allowing liquid staking platforms to continue rewarding users without the burdens of agency registration. The move represents a softer stance compared to prior policies and is widely viewed as a tailwind for Ethereum’s staking ecosystem.
With ETFs breaking records, corporations stockpiling billions, and regulators easing pressure, Ethereum’s ascent has become a defining moment for the cryptocurrency market—pushing ETH ever closer to the $5,000 milestone.
