Trump Memecoin Investors Set for Third Exclusive Dinner in Washington

Holders of Donald Trump’s $TRUMP memecoin are set to get another opportunity to attend an exclusive event with the U.S. president, with the latest gathering scheduled for November 22 at Trump National in Washington, D.C.

The event will welcome the top 185 registered $TRUMP investors, according to the platform organizing the token’s events. Eligibility will be based on investor activity, with rankings scheduled to be finalized on November 12.

The announcement briefly lifted the memecoin’s price by around 10%, pushing it to about $2.25 before it gave back much of the gain. $TRUMP remains far below its record high of roughly $74.

Organizers have promoted the gathering as the “most exclusive dinner in the world” and said Trump will be joined by three other guests described as “legends.” Their identities have not yet been disclosed.

Unlike some previous events, however, attendees will not receive a private meeting with Trump. Organizers specifically stated that there will be no individual meet-and-greet opportunities with the president.

That restriction could disappoint some holders who attended earlier gatherings. Trump made appearances at previous events, but some participants said they did not get the personal access they had expected.

The November dinner will be the third major event connected to Trump’s memecoin since its launch shortly before he returned to the White House. The token has generated significant attention as investors have faced large swings in its value, while Trump's crypto interests have also become part of the wider political debate over digital asset regulation.

Democratic lawmakers previously pushed for restrictions on cryptocurrency-related interests held by senior government officials as part of negotiations surrounding the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act. Those discussions failed to produce an agreement, and the legislation did not advance last month.

Trump had previously indicated that he could consider steps involving his crypto holdings, including placing assets into a blind trust or selling some of them. No such arrangement was ultimately reached as the broader negotiations broke down.

The first $TRUMP investor event took place at Trump's Washington-area golf club and attracted protests from Democratic lawmakers and others who questioned the relationship between the president and the memecoin's investors.

A second event was held at Mar-a-Lago in Florida in April and included former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.

For the upcoming dinner, qualifying VIP investors will receive gifts including a commemorative poster and a bottle of “TRUMP fragrance.” The event's current leaderboard shows that several of the investors near the top hold hundreds of thousands of $TRUMP tokens.
