Anthony Pompliano’s ProCap Adds Another $128M in Bitcoin, Pushes Holdings to Nearly 5,000 BTC

Just 24 hours after making headlines with a $385 million bitcoin acquisition, ProCap BTC—the crypto treasury venture spearheaded by entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano—has made another aggressive move: purchasing an additional 1,208 BTC for $128 million.

The latest buy, disclosed Thursday, brings ProCap’s total holdings to 4,932 BTC. The firm said it paid an average of $105,977 per coin, further deepening its conviction in Bitcoin’s role as the financial foundation of the future. With BTC recently reclaiming the $108,000 level, ProCap’s swift deployment of capital offers investors immediate exposure to the asset without delay.

This surge in bitcoin accumulation comes as ProCap BTC advances toward a $1 billion SPAC merger with Columbus Circle Capital Corp. (CCCM). The combined entity will operate under the name ProCap Financial, Inc., with a goal of holding up to $1 billion worth of bitcoin on its books by the time the deal closes.

Positioning Bitcoin as a new “hurdle rate” for financial performance, ProCap is aiming to reshape traditional asset management by integrating BTC directly into its balance sheet strategy. The firm’s back-to-back buys not only signal long-term confidence but also reflect a unique model: using capital markets to funnel funds directly into bitcoin as a core reserve asset.
