Fartcoin (FARTCOIN), a joke-turned-juggernaut, has surged 21% in the past 24 hours, reaching a market cap of $1.08 billion. The rise officially places it among the top five meme coins by valuation—edging out longtime Solana favorite Bonk (BONK) and closing in fast on Official Trump (TRUMP), the reigning king of Solana memes.

Fartcoin isn’t your average token. It was dreamed up by Truth Terminal, a snarky AI personality that gained internet fame for its unfiltered wit on X (formerly Twitter). The AI’s satirical vision for the “perfect meme coin” caught the attention of none other than Marc Andreessen, who awarded the AI a $50,000 Bitcoin grant last year.

Soon after, degens minted Fartcoin on Pump.fun, and its value exploded—peaking at $2.15 billion in market cap before tumbling during the LIBRA scandal and a global market slump triggered by President Trump’s trade war.
