Bitcoin Rebounds as Iran Tensions Ease, Risk Assets Rally Across Global Markets

Bitcoin staged a strong recovery on Friday, reversing a week of heavy losses as improving geopolitical sentiment fueled renewed demand for risk assets. The world's largest cryptocurrency rose to $63,550, gaining 1.6% over the past 24 hours and returning to positive territory on a weekly basis after briefly slipping below $60,000 earlier in the week.

The rebound followed comments from U.S. President Donald Trump, who indicated that Washington was nearing an agreement with Iran and claimed the conflict had effectively come to an end. Investors interpreted the remarks as a sign that one of the market's biggest sources of uncertainty may soon be resolved, helping drive a sharp recovery across financial markets.

Energy markets reacted quickly to the developments, with Brent crude oil falling 2% to around $88.50 per barrel as fears of supply disruptions eased. Meanwhile, traditional safe-haven assets such as gold and silver continued to attract demand, reflecting a cautious but improving market outlook.

Global equities also advanced. South Korea's benchmark Kospi index surged 8.4%, supported by strength in artificial intelligence-related stocks, while the MSCI Asia Pacific Index posted its strongest gain in two months with a 3.5% rise. European shares and U.S. stock futures also pointed higher as investors embraced a more optimistic risk environment.

For crypto markets, lower geopolitical tensions could help reduce inflation concerns tied to elevated oil prices. This, in turn, may ease expectations for tighter monetary policy, a factor that has weighed on digital assets and precious metals throughout the week.

The broader cryptocurrency market joined Bitcoin's recovery. Ether climbed 1.3% to $1,673, while BNB added 1.5% and Solana gained 3%. XRP and Dogecoin each advanced more than 2%. Among major tokens, Hyperliquid's HYPE delivered the strongest daily performance with a 7.6% increase, although it remained one of the weakest performers on a weekly basis. TRON was the only major asset to post a decline on the day.

Investors are also monitoring one of the year's most anticipated public listings. SpaceX is scheduled to begin trading on Nasdaq following a record-breaking $75 billion fundraising round, with pre-market activity suggesting strong investor demand and the possibility of a significant first-day gain.

Beyond price action, blockchain adoption metrics continued to strengthen. Tokenized real-world assets reached a record market value of $28.9 billion in May, marking their tenth consecutive monthly all-time high. The stablecoin sector also expanded further, pushing its total market capitalization to $320 billion and underscoring continued growth in digital asset infrastructure.

With Bitcoin now back in weekly profit territory, traders will be closely watching whether diplomatic progress between the U.S. and Iran materializes into a formal agreement. A finalized deal could further support risk assets and help sustain the momentum seen across crypto markets at the end of the week.
