Trump Disclosure Reveals Hundreds of Millions in Crypto-Linked Wealth From World Liberty Financial

President Donald Trump’s latest financial disclosure has revealed a significant connection to the cryptocurrency industry, showing hundreds of millions of dollars in earnings linked to his family-backed crypto venture, World Liberty Financial (WLF), along with holdings across several major digital asset companies.
The 927-page annual report released Tuesday by the United States Office of Government Ethics detailed Trump’s wide-ranging financial portfolio, covering investments across traditional industries, including restaurants, retail, defense, and banking, as well as growing exposure to crypto-related assets.
According to the filing, Trump reported more than $65.6 million from selling equity connected to WLF Holdco and an additional $236.25 million from token sale proceeds distributed through World Liberty Financial. The disclosure also listed cryptocurrency holdings associated with the platform, including bitcoin, ether, USDC, LINK, AAVE, ENA, MOVE, and ONDO.
The filing further showed that Trump earned roughly $1.8 million from ether staking rewards, adding another revenue stream tied directly to blockchain-based assets.
Beyond World Liberty Financial, Trump disclosed investments in major crypto-related companies, including up to $100,000 in Coinbase and holdings connected to Strategy Inc., a company widely known for its bitcoin treasury strategy.
The disclosures arrive as lawmakers debate new cryptocurrency regulations, with some Democrats pushing for ethics restrictions that would prevent senior government officials, including the president and vice president, from engaging in certain digital asset transactions while serving in office.
The report also highlighted a contrast between Trump’s extensive filing and Vice President JD Vance’s much shorter 17-page disclosure. Vance reported holding up to $500,000 worth of bitcoin but did not disclose comparable crypto-related business earnings.
Trump’s latest filing underscores the growing intersection between political figures, corporate crypto ventures, and digital asset markets as Washington continues discussions over how the industry should be regulated.
