Bitcoin’s Fragile Rebound Plans Hit a Wall as Demand Fades Near $95K

Bitcoin is attempting a cautious recovery after last week’s steep decline, yet its rebound remains shaky as the asset approaches a critical resistance level. While prices have crawled higher over the past 24 hours, the move lacks conviction—reflecting a market still dominated by hesitation rather than momentum.
Investor Appetite Remains Soft
Spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to reveal a clear lack of conviction among institutional players. On Monday, ETFs saw just $8.5 million in inflows before immediately flipping to $61.6 million in outflows later the same day. The imbalance underscores a key issue: even as price improves, institutional demand isn’t following.
ETF flows are widely treated as a barometer for high-value buyer sentiment—and right now, that gauge is flashing mild skepticism. Without consistent inflows, Bitcoin risks running out of the big-buyer support that typically underpins sustainable rallies.
On-chain data supports the same story. Activity among both small wallets and major holders has been declining in tandem, a signal of weakening demand across the board. When retail and whales disengage simultaneously, the market often enters a phase where organic buying pressure fades significantly.
Critical Resistance Ahead
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $92,939 after briefly touching $93,950 earlier today. The move successfully cleared the $91,521 resistance zone, but the real test sits higher: $95,000.
A break above $95K would mark a transition from short-lived recovery to a potential trend reversal. But if demand continues to lag, Bitcoin risks hitting resistance and sliding backward.
Downside Risks Remain
Failure to reclaim $95,000 could drag Bitcoin back under $91,521, with a further slide below $89,800 opening the door to a deeper move toward $86,822. Such a drop would wipe out recent gains and extend the ongoing five-week downtrend.
For now, Bitcoin’s path forward hinges on one thing: stronger demand. Without it, even brief rallies may struggle to hold.
