Trump Media Pushes Forward with Dual Crypto ETF Bid Amid NYSE Filing and $2.4B Bitcoin Treasury Plan

Trump Media & Technology Group is escalating its crypto ambitions as the New York Stock Exchange filed a proposed rule change Tuesday to list a new ETF combining Bitcoin and Ethereum exposure under the Truth Social brand.
The ETF, created in partnership with Yorkville America, is designed to hold a 75% allocation in Bitcoin and 25% in Ethereum. If approved, it would mark Trump Media’s second major ETF filing, following the earlier Truth Social Bitcoin ETF application made in early June. Both filings are part of a growing pipeline that includes the America First Bitcoin Fund and other crypto-themed financial products managed with Crypto.com, the designated custodian and liquidity provider.
While the SEC is not obligated to greenlight the proposed fund, the filing signals a more confident tone from Trump Media as the regulatory landscape becomes increasingly favorable. The agency’s top ranks have seen recent appointments of pro-crypto figures under President Trump, aligning with his campaign rhetoric embracing digital assets.
The move also comes shortly after Trump Media announced a $2.4 billion capital raise aimed at building a Bitcoin treasury. Despite no reported acquisitions yet, the war chest suggests a strong pivot toward crypto integration across the company’s media and fintech properties, which include Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth.Fi.
Crypto markets appear to be stabilizing after recent geopolitical volatility. Bitcoin climbed back to $106,000, while Ethereum hovered around $2,440, both seeing modest gains after a tense weekend dip.
With this latest NYSE filing, Trump Media is positioning itself not just as a media company, but as a full-fledged player in the digital asset economy—one branded with a distinctly nationalist flair.
