Trump’s Solana Meme Coin Airdrop Rewards Buyers of Official Merch
Shoppers purchasing officially licensed Trump merchandise could now receive a unique bonus—an airdrop of TRUMP, the president’s official Solana meme coin. This offer extends to initial buyers of Trump’s official NFT collections as well.
The initiative, launched as part of a President’s Day promotion, aims to incentivize merchandise sales while expanding the TRUMP crypto community. A message from the project on X (formerly Twitter) emphasized this goal: “TRUMP is creating the biggest and strongest crypto community the world has ever experienced. Today, we are growing the TRUMP community, and we want you to be part of it!”
Anyone who purchased items from Trump’s official online stores—whether sneakers, watches, fragrances, or digital trading cards—before February 15 is eligible for three TRUMP tokens. At the current price of $16.30 per token, this amounts to approximately $48. The cost of Trump-branded products varies widely, from $99 for NFTs to $199 for fragrances, and even $100,000 for an exclusive 18-karat gold watch.
To claim the tokens, buyers must provide the email address associated with their purchase. The claim period remains open until March 1 at claim.gettrumpmemes.com. However, purchases made through secondary marketplaces do not qualify for the giveaway.
Since launching on January 17, TRUMP saw a meteoric rise, briefly reaching a market cap of $14.7 billion before retracing by 78%. Despite this decline, promotional efforts continue, with Trump’s history of NFT sales playing a key role in his digital asset strategy. His most recent Ethereum-based collection on the Polygon network included 360,000 collectibles, and some officially licensed Trump NFTs were even inscribed on Bitcoin as Ordinals.
Meanwhile, Trump’s debut trading card collection has surged 17% in value over the past 24 hours, with its floor price now at $187, according to NFT Price Floor.
